Printing is done on all of our machines using the Common UNIX Printing System (CUPS). CUPS is versatile and based on the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP). It supports PPD files for determining printer capabilities, and network printer browsing.

The web based administration page: CUPS Web-based administration page allows users to see a lot of pertient information about the printers including printing job history, current print jobs, printer features, etc.
