Welcome to Rob Gutermuth's Homepage!

After successfully defending my thesis on September 14, 2005, I have taken a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. I'm working with Phil Myers, continuing work on the Spitzer Young Stellar Cluster Survey.

Here's some recent stuff:

Serpens South: I discovered that, and helped make the release image! Letter coming shortly!

Orion from Spitzer/IRAC: I helped make that image... It's HUGE!!

NGC 1333 from Spitzer/IRAC: I made that image (with massive cleanup effort by Robert Hurt, who ROCKS, by the way) and will be publishing a paper on this shortly.

Sharpless 140 from Spitzer/IRAC: I helped make that image! (no easy task, I assure you)

NGC 7129 (The Rosebud Nebula?!) from Spitzer/IRAC: I helped make that image and we have several papers on this region in the Spitzer Special Issue of the ApJ Supplements.

My IDL Page: what I've done and what I use.

Spitzer Young Stellar Clusters Survey: my current research

My Astronomical Image Gallery: my pretty pictures
