Feedback and Turbulence

We find that models previously used to model biological systems can be used to predict when star formation is episodic rather than self-limiting. Outflows when they expand leave large but slow moving relic cavities that provide clues about the past evolution of outflows and may be responsible for turbulence in molecular clouds.
