The Rochester Astrophysics Consortium (RAC)

The Rochester Astrophysics Consortium (RAC) consists of members from the University of Rochester and the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) astrophyics groups as well as other members of the Rochester community who have an interest in astronomy and astrophysics. The group meets approximately once every two weeks to discuss astrophysical issues of interest.

RAC meetings generally occur only when needed or requested, and are held on Monday afternoons during the hour proceeding seminars held at one of the two universities. At the University of Rochester, the meetings begin at 3:15 and are held in Room 480 of the Bausch and Lomb building. When the meetings are held at RIT, they also begin at 3:15 and are held in the Center for Imaging Sciences building.
