This documentation is intended for the reduction of image data taken with the University of Rochester 3rd Generation Infrared Camera. The data reduction will be done with a series of IDL programs written by Carl Welch between Summer 1996 and the present.

If you find the colored text hard to read because of a background image, look for a button labelled "BGTOG" near the top of the page (like the one below). Clicking it will allow you to toggle between having the background image and having a plain white background (this is done by setting a cookie).

Incidentally, the images used as backdrops to some of these pages are images that have been reduced with the software described here. A short image caption appears at the top of each page.
